THE MUSE OF THE EYE
The beginning of every creation. Vision, imagination, observation, and sketches.
From Line to Silhouette
Every creation begins with a single mark. The pencil touches paper, and a world is born. The eye does not merely observe — it imagines, it dreams, it remembers.
In the ISALOR atelier, the first sketch is never a drawing of a garment. It is a drawing of a feeling — a silhouette of emotion traced in graphite and gold. From this first line, architecture emerges. Columns become seams. Archways become necklines. The vocabulary of buildings translates into the language of the body.
What the eye sees, the hand renders. What the hand renders, the body will one day wear.

The eye is the first instrument of creation. Before the fabric is chosen, before the shears are lifted, there is seeing. Not the passive seeing of a glance, but the active seeing of an architect — the seeing that decomposes a column into a line, a shadow into a shape, a memory into a form.
ISALOR sketches are not illustrations. They are translations — of space into silhouette, of stone into drape, of the structural into the wearable.

The Archive — where every line begins
The eye does not see what is — it sees what could be.
