The First Muse
Before the first sketch, before the first cut, there was a memory. A woman walking through the colonnades of Old Habana at dusk — the light falling across the stone in golden bars, her silhouette dissolving into shadow and reappearing in light.
That image — that intersection of architecture, memory, and femininity — became the first muse. Not a person, but a feeling. Not a design, but a question: what if clothing could carry the weight of a place? What if a garment could hold the memory of a city, the warmth of a climate, the strength of a woman?
